Sanding a Bare Wood Ibanez RG or JEM style Body
I make a lot of Ibanez JEM style guitar replacement bodies.
This first set is after an initial sand with 220 grit. I learned back in wood shop class in HS that if you wet the wood after, the grain pops. I'll do this stage a few times.
I tried to show the trouble spots. Those will need a few more passes at 220.
Here are some shots after the next sanding session. The trouble spots are 70% gone.
